My pool is green. Is it safe to swim in?+
No. Green or cloudy water means algae or bacteria are growing and the sanitizer isn't keeping up. Cloudy water also makes it hard to see someone at the bottom of the pool. Keep everyone out until the water is clear and tested.
Is my pool leaking or just evaporating?+
Try the bucket test. Set a bucket of water on a pool step so the water inside the bucket is level with the pool, mark both levels, and check after a day with the pump running as usual. If the pool drops noticeably more than the bucket, you likely have a leak. Tell the pro the result when you book.
Can I handle pool chemicals myself?+
