Describe the job — or the whole list, which is usually the better use of a visit. Roger books one vetted local handyman and confirms the appointment, so you know which company is coming before they arrive.

Does Roger charge homeowners anything?

No. Roger is free for homeowners. The handyman charges for the work and Roger does not add a markup on top of their price.

Can I bundle several small jobs into one visit?

Yes, and you generally should. Describe everything on the list when you book rather than adding items once the pro is standing in your hallway — it lets them bring the right materials and set aside enough time, instead of discovering a two-hour job halfway through a one-hour slot.

What needs a licensed trade instead of a handyman?

Anything inside an electrical panel, gas lines and gas appliances, structural changes, and most permitted work. Garage door spring and cable tension is another one — the stored energy in those parts causes serious injuries and it is a specialist job. If you describe the work, Roger routes it to the right trade rather than sending a generalist into a licensed job.

Is there a minimum job size?

That is set by the pro, not by Roger, and it varies by market. It is another reason to describe the full list up front — a single fifteen-minute task may not justify a trip on its own, while five of them together comfortably does.
