Plumbing

A vetted local plumber, booked in minutes

Leak under the sink, a drain that won't clear, a toilet that runs all night — describe it and Roger books one licensed local plumber and confirms the time.

What is Roger?

Roger is a nationwide service that books plumbing repair with one vetted, licensed local plumber instead of auctioning your request. Describe the problem — a leak, a clog, a running toilet, no water pressure — and Roger assigns one plumber and confirms the appointment. Homeowners pay Roger nothing.

What Roger handles

  • Leak under a sink, behind a wall, or at a supply line
  • Drain that is slow or fully blocked
  • Toilet that runs constantly, won't flush, or overflows
  • Low or no water pressure at one fixture or the whole house
  • Dripping faucet or a shower valve that won't shut off
  • Garbage disposal jammed or humming without turning
  • Sewer smell, gurgling drains, or a backup at the lowest fixture
  • Burst or frozen pipe

Not on the list? Describe it anyway. Roger reads the problem in plain language and routes it to the right trade.

Plumbing questions, answered

How do I book a plumber through Roger?
Describe what is happening in plain language — water under the sink, a drain that won't clear, a toilet running all night. Roger books one vetted, licensed local plumber and confirms the appointment, so you know which company is coming before they arrive.
Does Roger charge homeowners anything?
No. Roger is free for homeowners. The plumber charges for the work and Roger does not add a markup on top of their price.
Water is actively pouring out. What do I do first?
Shut off the water before you book anything. Under a sink there is usually a small valve on each supply line; for a burst pipe or anything you cannot isolate, use the main shutoff — commonly where the supply enters the house, near the water heater, or at the meter. Find and label that valve before you ever need it. If water is anywhere near electrical panels or outlets, cut the power at the breaker too, and if you cannot do that safely, leave and call an electrician or the fire department.
Can I use a drain chemical first?
Be careful. Caustic drain products can damage older pipes and seals, and if the clog does not clear, the plumber is now working in a line full of caustic liquid. For a single slow drain a plunger or a hand auger is the safer first try. For repeat clogs or several fixtures backing up at once, the problem is usually further down the line and needs a pro.
Do you do commercial plumbing?
Yes. Roger takes both home and business plumbing requests.
Where does Roger work?
Across the United States and Canada. Roger takes plumbing requests from any U.S. address, and from Canadian addresses in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Atlantic Canada.
