Lawn and landscaping, one vetted pro at a time
A yard that got away from you, a sprinkler zone that won't shut off, water pooling by the house. Describe it and Roger books one local pro and confirms the time.
One description. One vetted pro. Booked.
Roger books lawn care and landscaping with one vetted local pro across the United States and Canada, instead of selling your details to several. Describe the yard and what you need done, and Roger assigns one pro and confirms the appointment. Homeowners pay Roger nothing.

Lawn & Landscaping questions, answered
Water collects against my foundation when it rains. Is that a landscaping job?+
Often, yes. The ground next to your house should slope away from it so rain drains outward. When soil settles or beds get built up against the wall, water runs toward the foundation instead. Regrading, extending downspouts, or adding drainage usually fixes it. If you already see water inside a basement or crawlspace, say so when you book, because it may need a closer look as well.
Will digging hit a utility line?+
It can, which is why digging for planting, edging, drainage or posts should start with a utility locate. In the U.S., call 811 a few days before digging and the utilities will mark buried lines for free. In Canada, contact your provincial one-call service, such as Ontario One Call or BC 1 Call. A pro who digs should handle or confirm this.
My sprinkler zone won't shut off. What do I do right now?+
Turn the system off at the controller first. If water keeps running, a valve is stuck open, so close the irrigation shutoff valve, often near the backflow device or where the irrigation line leaves the main supply. If you cannot find it, use the house main shutoff until the pro arrives.
Does Roger charge homeowners anything?+
No. Roger is free for homeowners. The pro you are matched with charges for the work, and Roger does not add a markup on top of their price.
